Dashboard

Introduction

The Dashboard enhances efficiency through improved navigation, centralized tools, and customizable features. These updates are designed to provide a more streamlined and user-friendly experience while supporting a wide range of operational needs.

Left Menu Bar

The menu provides access to all major areas of the system, supporting efficient navigation between sections. Selecting any item opens the corresponding area. The menu also includes a Quick Add section to streamline record creation.



Clicking the Quick Add button will display a dropdown menu with multiple options, providing a convenient shortcut for quickly creating records.



The menu can also be condensed to maximize screen space, providing a wider workspace for viewing records and Dashboard data.

To collapse the sidebar, hover the cursor over the arrow icon and select it.


Search & Filter

The dashboard includes built-in filtering options that allow data to be refined by location and warehouse. Using the dropdown menus at the top of the screen, selections can be made to display information specific to a chosen location, warehouse, or combination of both. These filters update all widgets and data views in real time, making it easy to focus on a specific group, streamline analysis, and quickly access relevant information.

Customization

Maintenance Pro offers a flexible and personalized dashboard experience, allowing the interface to be tailored to specific operational needs and user preferences.



Selecting the Customize button opens edit mode, where Add/Remove and Arrange options are available to modify widget visibility and layout.



Selecting the Add/Remove option allows control over which widgets are displayed. Use the toggle within each category to enable or disable individual widgets.

  • Widgets can also be removed by selecting the X in the top-right corner of each widget.



The Arrange option enables widgets to be repositioned and resized to suit individual layout preferences. Widgets can be moved to different areas of the dashboard to prioritize key information, while resizing allows for greater visibility of important data. This flexibility supports a more organized and efficient workspace.

Widgets

Widgets provide a customizable way to view and manage key information directly from the dashboard, offering quick access to important data and system insights.

Each widget is outlined below with a brief explanation of its purpose and functionality.

Count Widgets

The Count widgets provide a summary of key record totals within the system, such as equipment, work orders, and inventory. It offers a quick snapshot of overall activity and system data at a glance.

Selecting any item within the widget opens the corresponding management screen for more detailed information.

Trend Widgets

The Trend widgets provide visual graphs that display key cost data, including maintenance costs, equipment costs, and fuel costs over time. These graphs allow for easy identification of patterns, fluctuations, and overall spending trends, supporting more informed analysis and decision-making.

Status & Activity Widgets

The Status & Activity widgets provide a real-time overview of system activity, highlighting the current status of notifications, work orders, purchase orders, and resolution times.

The Notifications section displays items that require attention, such as overdue maintenance, upcoming tasks, inspection results, inventory levels, and employee renewals. The Work Orders and Purchase Orders widgets summarize the progress and status of active records, allowing for quick tracking of open and in-progress items. The Time to Resolve widget presents the average completion time from request, offering insight into operational efficiency and performance trends.



What's Due

At the top center of the What's Due Widget, three primary notification lists are displayed: Equipment Due, Inventory Low, and Employees Due.

Select a category to view the corresponding list.

The Equipment Due notifications show tasks that are approaching their due date or are overdue, along with any pending inspections awaiting completion.


Select All Due Equipment above the first row to filter by notification type.

To view the details of a maintenance task, click the arrow next to the checkbox.

To take action on notifications, use the buttons to the right.

  • New WO – Creates a new Work Order for the task.
  • Inspect – Opens the inspection record screen to complete the checklist.

Click the links to view additional details about Work Orders and Inspections.

To create multiple Work Orders for several assets, use the checkboxes on the left of each row to select the desired assets. Once all are selected, click the New WO button in the blue bar that appears at the top.

Inventory Low

The Inventory Low feature notifies users of parts that require reordering due to low or depleted stock levels.

To filter the list by a specific warehouse, select All Warehouses the top-right corner of the dashboard.

To record a receipt or generate a purchase order, select the Action button located within the part row.

Employees Due

Selecting the Employees Due box directs users to a list of employees with upcoming renewals.

To filter the list by an employee’s primary location, select All Locations in the top-right corner of the dashboard.

The Update button processes renewals and advances the corresponding expiration dates.
