Verizon Connect/Reveal GPS Integration
To enable Maintenance Pro’s Enterprise service to retrieve vehicle meter readings and location daily, the correct credentials must be provided to Maintenance Pro. Follow these steps:
- Log in to the Verizon account online, then navigate to the Marketplace link.
2. In the Marketplace, click on API Integrations, then Send Request.
- On the next screen, enter a name, email address, and phone number. The Integration Name can be any label, though “Maintenance Pro” is recommended for clarity.
- After submitting the form to Verizon, the system will provide the necessary credentials. In Maintenance Pro, click the main gear icon and select Organization Profile, then navigate to the GPS Integrations tab. Add a new integration for Fleetmatics and enter the credentials supplied by Verizon into the appropriate fields, then save.
This integration will now retrieve odometer and engine hour readings (if available), as well as latitude and longitude, for vehicles matched between Maintenance Pro and Verizon. Vehicle matching is based on VIN or serial number, so ensure these identifiers are consistent across both systems.
