Modify Work Order Numbering Sequence

Whenever a new Work Order is created, its number is automatically assigned based on a numerical sequence. For example, if the sequence starts at 1000, the next Work Order will be numbered 1001.

Maintenance Pro also allows the Work Order sequence to be adjusted if a higher starting value is needed.

Note:
Once the Work Order sequence is moved forward, it cannot be reverted back to a lower number. The sequence also cannot contain any letters or symbols. It can only contain numbers.

To edit the Work Order sequence, select the gear icon and choose Organization Profile. Then, click the WO/PO Sequences tab and set the Work Order Sequence to the desired value.

Click Save on the bottom to save the setting.
