Add Notes And Documents To Work Orders
On the bottom of the Work Order Detail screen, you will see options to Add Notes and Attachments. You can add technician notes to the Work Order for reference. You can also upload pictures or documents to the Work Order that are related to the tasks at hand.
Click on Add Note to make a new note record.
Type a note into the text box and click Create Note to save it.
Once a note is entered, you can click the blue Edit button on the right of the record to make changes, or the red Delete button to remove the note.
Click on Add Attachments to add a file or document to the Work Order record.
These are the accepted file types that can be attached.
Once you click on the Add Attachments button, you will be presented with a Windows Explorer dialog box. Choose the file you wish to upload and attach.
Once this is done, click the Start Upload button to attach the file.
Now the file name shows up in blue. You can click the file name to open and view it.
