Add Notes And Documents To Work Orders

At the bottom of the Work Order Detail screen, options are available to add Notes and Attachments. Technician notes can be added to the Work Order for reference, and relevant pictures or documents can be uploaded to support the tasks being performed.

Select Add Note to create a new note entry.

Enter the note into the text box, then click Create Note to save it.

After a note is entered, click the blue Edit button on the right to modify the record, or the red Delete button to remove it.

Click Add Attachments to upload a file or document to the Work Order record.

The following file types are accepted for attachments:

  • JPG
  • JPEG
  • GIF
  • PNG
  • XLS
  • XLSX
  • DOC
  • DOCX
  • PPT
  • PPTX
  • CSV

Clicking the Add Attachments button opens a file selection dialog. Select the desired file to upload and attach it to the Work Order.

After selecting the file, click the Start Upload button to attach it to the Work Order.

Once uploaded, the file name appears in blue. Clicking the file name opens and displays the attachment.
